Maine Media Workshop with Jay Kinghorn: Multimedia with Olympus Ultra-Portable Cameras—August 22-28, 2010—Rockport, ME—Learn to develop, shoot and edit dynamic multimedia projects using all-in-one ultra-portable cameras—New breeds of all-in-one ultra-portable cameras, notably the Olympus PEN E-P1 and E-P2, armed with interchangeable lenses, stunning optics and many megapixels of resolution, are viable options for amateurs and professionals alike. This course explores the potential of these small cameras to create high-quality multimedia projects. To this end, students find, shoot and produce short multimedia documentaries within the local community. Olympus provides the PEN series of camera for this workshop, and students are free to use them for the week.
