For the better part of a year, I’ve wanted to produce a multimedia story about my friend, Jim, whose hydroelectric plant has become a home away from home—a refuge, if you will, from day-to-day stresses.
On a snowy afternoon, Jim was in his shop working and I shot this interview and short story. Video footage was shot with the Olympus E-P1 and E-P2 and stills were shot with the E-P2 and E-30 using a variety of lenses. Audio was captured with the Olympus LS-10 using a lavaliere microphone.
I’m looking forward to shooting additional mini-stories like this in the coming months. I’ll be sure to share them with you as soon as they’re ready to be seen by the world.
